The traditions in Southern California started over a century ago, in 1919. Bruins football. The beautiful blue and gold. There’s nothing like a Saturday afternoon in the sun-drenched Rose Bowl, the band playing the “Big C,” the student body doing the UCLA 8 clap, the victory formations of so many historic teams. They’ve lined up legends over the course of history. From Jackie Robinson in 1939-1940 to Troy Aikman in the 1980s, from Jackie’s teammate, Kenny Washington to Heisman winner Gary Beban.
The tradition rolls on!
