Rickey Henderson #24 White PO Hoody

I followed up on this and contacted a sportswriter who had been in contact with Rickey back in the day. He said sbsolutely no one called him hendu. He agreed that was Dave Henderson a nickname. Rickey is the man of steel.

When ROF issued gear featuring my favorite baseball player of all time (Run, Rickey, Run!), I was immediately in. The look was in the swagger style I loved about Rickey. After receiving the hoodie as a Christmas present from my wife, I found the quality questionable. I would have loved a heavier fleece feel for the price paid and worse the sleeves had fuzz balls making it look worn, which is not a cool look on bright white fleece (see pic). Perhaps these fuzz balls are why they label it “vintage”??? Regardless, while I was happy with the style, I was not satisfied with the quality.

Stop being stubborn about the wrong nickname. Ricky is not Hendu. That is Dave Henderson also from the A’s. A simple google search will show you your sweatshirt is wrong and needs correcting. I want the sweatshirt - but not wrong! Fix it. So the fans can buy it.

Bought this for my dad for his birthday who was also his cousin/childhood friend. This patch is 100% accurate and perhaps those who don't know Ricky would think otherwise. The sweatshirt is very nice and well-made. My dad is very happy with it. Except he said why it wasnt #35? I said he was #24 with the A's too, and it also plays homage when he played for the Yankees! ❤️
