Total bases stolen all-time? Rickey holds that record, 1,406. Most home runs by a lead-off man? Rickey holds that, too, with 81. Rickey could do it all. He led the Majors a dozen times as the stolen base leader. He had a total of 2,295 runs scored in his career, tying Ty Cobb for the most ever. He was a walking record, alright. Yet pitchers did their best not to walk him, even though he drew 2,190 walks by the time it was all said and done.
