In his first official game as a Kansas Jayhawk in Dec. 1956, at the famous Allen Fieldhouse, Wilt Chamberlain did the thing of legends. He scored 52 points, a record that still stands nearly 70 years later. That wouldn’t even be the most astonishing thing he’d do at college.

Through #13 fans saw astronomy. As in, astronomical numbers. In the two years he spent at KU, Wilt averaged 29.9 points per game and 18.3 rebounds. Mr. Double Double. Mr. Record Books. Mr. Adapt or Lose. One team passed the ball 160 times on a single possession just to keep the ball out of Wilt’s.

Because once he got it? Game over.
