KU - Wilt Jayhawks Basketball Grey Triblend Tee

“They were willing to do anything to stop me.”

The legend is as big as the man.

Flash back to Wilt Chamberlain’s first official game at the University of Kansas. It was in Dec. 1956, at the storied Allen Fieldhouse. Wilt took the floor to impossible fanfare, with expectations as big and long as his substantial stride. What did Wilt do?

He scored 52 points, which is a record that still stands nearly 70 years later.

From there, it was a march through history. Through him fans saw astronomy. As in, astronomical numbers.

In the two years he was a Jayhawk, Wilt averaged 29.9 points per game and 18.3 rebounds. Mr. Double Double. Mr. Record Books. Mr. Adapt or Lose. Mr. Jayhawk Forever.
