The Album That Changed Everything

The prism wasn’t just a cover - it was a statement.

For the eighth album, Pink Floyd busted the floodgates of imagination wide open. “The Dark Side of the Moon.” Those six words have come to define the evolution of rock & roll.

The 1973 tour was an odyssey of the mind. Of emotion. In America, it mesmerized audiences. The prism on the cover of the album itself has come to symbolize the music. A white beam dispersing into a spectrum of color. Pink Floyd’s music was very much like a piece of glass cut into precise angles, reflecting light. Through the decades they deepened into the greatest progressive rock band of all time.

Forever Floyd!
