In his first ever baseball game in Westwood, he had four hits and four stolen bases. He broke records in track and field and set the record for most yards-per-carry in football, averaging 12.2 yards per tote. On the hardwood, he blazed up and down the basketball court, averaging a dozen points a game. With over 120 national champions in UCLA history across sports, the 5-foot-11 Robinson stood out. He became the tradition.
