No singular boxing event captivated the mind like the “Rumble in the Jungle.” No fight epitomized the spirit of a champion, as it did that night in Zaire for Muhammad Ali. No bout has been talked about, written about, or generally mythologized quite like the night George Foreman tried to take Ali’s head off, but couldn’t. To this day, the Rumble in the Jungle is the standard by which all great heavyweight fights are compared.

And the atmosphere all that week in 1974 was amazing. To capture the electric feel of the fight and the setting, we have this vintage purple stadium jacket inspired by the jumpsuit James Brown’s wore at the music festival the week of the fight.
